BGRC Media Release | James Westbrook appointed as Club Treasurer


Following the resignation of former BGRC Treasurer Greg Davies (who left to take up the role as President of Greyhound Clubs Victoria, the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club (BGRC) is delighted to announce the appointment of experienced accountant and highly regarded Finance Manager James Westbrook as our new Treasurer.

A snapshot of James CV and past experience follows:

Education:
Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)

Certificates:
Member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand
Certificate of Public Practice
Registered Tax Agent

Experience:
Last 12 months James has been a Regional Finance Manager at Country Racing Victoria (current)
James also has his own firm as a sole trader now called All in Accounting (previously Top Shelf Business Solutions.

Past Experience:
AC Accounting & Business Solutions for 8 years as an accountant (titles progressed from graduate accountant to manager & principal)
James was on the executive committee at VRI Delacombe Cricket Club (2 years as president, 5 years as treasurer)

Other:
Leadership Ballarat & Western Region Graduate 2019
James was appointed by the Committee to this casual vacancy on Monday 4th May 2021, with his appointed to be formalised at the 2021 Annual General Meeting.
We thank Greg for his energy, commitment and support during his tenure with the BGRC, and we welcome James to the Ballarat GRC team – we are delighted to have someone as experienced as James joining the Ballarat GRC.
