SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING UPDATE

Dear Members,

Special General Meeting of the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club

Please be advised that a Special General Meeting of the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club will be held on Thursday 6^th September 2018 at 7:30pm at the Ballarat Greyhound Track.

The Special General Meeting Agenda is as follows:

1. 1.                  Open meeting
2. 2.                  Apologies
3. 3.                  Special Resolutions –:
4. That the Club adopts the new constitution (copies may be obtained from the Club Manager during business hours), subject to approval by Consumer Affairs Victoria, with effect from the 2018 AGM (scheduled for Thursday 29^th November 2018).
5. On the basis that approval to adopt the new constitution is granted by Consumer Affairs Victoria, that all current committee positions will be declared vacant at the 2018 AGM, with each of the resigning committee members being eligible for re-nomination.
6. That the initial terms of appointment of new committee members be determined in line with Rule 58 in the new constitution.
