As you may know this Chinese New Year is year of the dog, which comes around every 12 years in their Zodiac celebrations.
The Club is organising to celebrate this amazing alignment – Promoting prosperity, wealth and happiness to the Club, patrons and our greyhounds.
Wednesday 21st we will be holding an event in Strides, with ALL you can eat Chinese Banquet for $19.99 per head, children $9.99 including soft drinks for kids.
We will be working in conjunction with the Chinese Australian Cultural Club Ballarat, that will be performing the traditional dragon ceremony prior to the race meet and after Race 1, they would usually perform a firework display which awakes the money gods but in the safety and well being of our greyhounds they will not perform this.
There will be lucky red envelope prizes to be won to all patrons that book at Strides.
