The Weekly Wrap – Hoop Arms Back


Hi all and welcome to the weekly wrap! For all of you already sick of the rain and cold its only 8 weeks until spring :)

Anyways on to racing, The “Hoop arm” is coming back and our first meeting with the arm is Monday the 18th of July, it will be on every second Monday there after. You will notice that’s its been scattered across tracks for the month of July and August in the objective to collect more data.

 

GAP- As of the 17th of August testing will be available at Ballarat. The latest testing dates have been released and phone booking are essential Click here to see all date available.

 

Did anyone wrap there eyes around the 24 starters Team Dailly has entered tonight? 18 runners after scratching’s, looks as if they could be in for a BIG night.

 

HEATS AND FINALS

There were no heats or finals last week but this week we have four 390mtr Maiden heats that look to have some decent quality in them
Heat 1 Lanie Bale mother was a multiple city winner and group winner. Destini Ricardo mother was also a multiple city and group winner.

Heat 2 Philo Bale mother is a prolific producer.

Heat 3 Lucky Seed comes from an exciting litter, Coporooke Chook is in good hands.

Heat 4 Rosie Allen mother was a multiple city winner & Baron Destini’s mother was Cloak of Gold was a top chaser and multiple city winner.

A very handy week for the locals this week, 13 winners and 21 placings.

The Ballarat all Maiden meeting provided the locals with 2 winners and 8 placings, i also have to make not of the very tidy effort of one Mr Michael Niele with his 3 winners (and only 4 entered) yesterday at Geelong, Huge effort and has to be awarded Trainer of the week! Congratulations.
