The Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club would like to thank everyone for their participation at the club’s “Little Big Day Out” event on Monday. We would like to extend a huge thanks to the following people for their input into the day:
Jase, Dale, Lynda and the team from the “Katy Perry Tribute Show”…We all thoroughly enjoyed the gig!
Dom, Bianca and the team from “Kelly Sports”…It was a glorious day, which was perfect for being outside playing games and having fun in the sun!
Tara from “Karaoke4Kids” for her amazing performances with the kids!
“Archie” the GAP dog and “Turbo” the GAP dog mascot for spreading the love and the joy with all…as well as Karen and Ash for being our GAP ambassadors for the day!
Jen, Linda, Ivan and the team from “Catering Allsorts” for providing lunch to triple the amount of anticipated people at our event…An outstanding effort under duress!
Club staff member Tammy, along with Emma from Greyhound Racing Victoria for their coordination throughout the day…Not an easy job with so many in attendance!
To the race day Staff, Trainers, Stewards and Racegoers for their cooperation and understanding with regards to the event…it was very much appreciated!
Christine Barentson, Olivia Shying and Kate Healy from the Ballarat Courier for their interest in covering our Event!
Finally and most importantly, to the kids and parents that attended our event!
We hope you enjoyed the entertainment and activities! We thank you for your patience with regards to lunch…we certainly got bombarded and apologise for any inconvenience caused! Unfortunately, clubs were only allocated 300 show bags also…so our deepest apologies to those who missed out! We will endeavour to use these obstacles as a learning tool for future events, thus making future events even more enjoyable!
Once again, thanks to all who participated! We hope that you enjoyed the day…As well as getting to spend time with the beautiful breed of dog that is the Greyhound!
