The Weekly Wrap – Reflecting

Welcome along to the weekly wrap. Firstly apologies for the no show last week, other duties called and there just wasn’t enough hours in the day to produce this first class write up.

After the new carpet being laid, the organising and running of the Cup and our AGM, the place is now a little quieter and we have some time to sit, enjoy, reflect and review. We have had a lot going on here in the last 2 or 3 months and all for the good. We always want to improve and love your feedback, so if you have any feedback or ideas or any suggestions/questions please feel free to stick your head in the office and say hello, we are all ears!

We have the running of the annual Topcat Summer Classic tonight after 4 ripping heats last week.

The box draw hasn’t thrown things in the air with the impressive Tuxedo Black drawn out in 7, The speedy Leo’s Gift inside of him in 6 and Tuggeragh has the red and looks suited there.

Its going to be a charge to the first turn with 4 of the 8 dogs that can reel of decent first splits.

Tuxedo Black only needs to repeat last weeks run were stayed out side the whole trip and still managed to run 24.96  and hell be taking home the handy 7k first prize.

We also have the final of the 0-6 wins 660mtr race were we have seem to unearthed a nice type of stayer.

The locally trained Stocktake, stormed down the outside to bolt in his heat clocking an impressive 38.06.

The scratching’s in the final it put him 10L faster that any other dog, the question is, were does he get to in the first 200mtrs?
