The Weekly Wrap – Fantasy so close

What a week in greyhound racing! The running of the Group 2 Shepparton cup along with the Group 3 Topcat at the Meadows. The Shepparton was a beauty, with speed drawn in boxes 4,5 & 6 it was going to be a hold your breath at the first turn. Aston Bolero and Bear’s Gold flew to the front, coming into the home straight Aston Bolero got a length on the field but Shima Song loomed large on the outside and American Monster did what American Monster and was charging along the rails but Aston Bolero held on to win in a slick 25.06.

The Group 3 Topcat 725mtr event Saturday with our representative Come On Fantasy from box 8.

The Joe Borg trained daughter of Daughter of Premier Fantasy flew the lids and landing in front and was 5 in front going past the post the first time but the mighty Burn One Down really got moving and loomed up and strolled on passed as he liked. Come On Fantasy ran a game second but was no match for the big Burn One Down.
